About Diamond Event Productions

Hi, I’m Liz. I started Diamond Event Productions back in 2013 during my sophomore year of college and began specializing in day-of wedding coordination. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from Cal Poly Pomona and a Master’s degree in Meetings and Events Management from San Diego State University.

My love for events started when I was twelve. I read a book called “The Wedding Planner’s Daughter” about a young girl named Willa and her mother, Stella, who was a glamorous wedding planner. This book sparked my interest and with it, I began dreaming of my life as an event planner. At fourteen I began to pursue my dream by volunteering my time for organizations such as Girl Scouts and The Old Globe by helping with their galas and events. Throughout college, I interned with A Good Affair Wedding and Event Productions with Wedding Planner Natalie Good, voted as the top wedding coordinator in Southern California by The Knot Magazine, and worked my way up as the Event Coordinator at Bardot, an upscale, privately-owned restaurant in Claremont, CA.

With ten years of professional event planning experience, I am currently a Senior Event Planner for LPL Financial planning corporate events. I work with a variety of vendors from all over San Diego that I have maintained close relationships with over the years. I also manage the event design from graphic designing to decor to flower arranging.

I have had the pleasure to coordinate weddings all over San Diego, from Ramona to La Jolla. When I’m coordinating a wedding I never feel like I’m working. This sense of calmness and pure enjoyment takes over and I sincerely love my job. I love the fact that I get to be such a big part of the most special day of someone’s life.
